Monthly Rent: $1200 - $1200
Monthly Rent: $6000 - $6000
This is an awesome place to live. Try to find a place to live near campus with this many amenities. Pool, rooftop deck, cable, wi-fi internet and a great maintenance staff. I live on the 4th floor and it's very peaceful at all. I park on the street. Everything is meticulously maintained and there are some really great condos in the building. I am a girl and I walk home from the campus all the time and I always feel safe. Westwood is walking distance which is really nice too!
People here are very nice, beautiful rooftop pool with great views that is never over filled with residents. There have been no bug infestations, rodents, or anything of this nature. To compliments the manager always say good bye to me and my room mates. I was impressed he knows all tenants by name! And we barely ever talk to them... This shows dedication and genuine concern. The price is a little steep and kitchen and bathroom needs light re-model. All appliances are up-to-date, they are all well keep and in great working order. If I could change anything, I would make this a non-smoking property but I don't know if this will happen everyone who lives here are students and now marijuana is legal. For the price we pay, the apartments could look a bit nicer maybe change the carpets to wood... If the apartments were updated a bit more I would give this place a 5 out of 5. Keep up the great work though, we love our home!!!
Been here for a while now and still yet to come across any major problems or have any complaints. They have everything you need, heat, air conditioning, laundry, and the rent is super cheap. What can I say it’s a great place! Take a look if you’re moving in to the area.
The manager of the building is very friendly and very helpful whenever any problem arises. Ron and the management takes real good care of the building. It is very clean, the building is well maintained except for the elevator but I heard they are putting a new one in the next 2 months finally. Parking is available in the building and that’s a huge plus especially if you don’t want to park on the streets.
I just received the email from Ron asking if we can put reviews here for the building so here it goes…
Let me start by saying that this was a GOOD building. And if anyone did not like it they have a big stick up there A**. The building issue was the elevator although I heard that they are putting a new one from the email blast so we kind of got screwed this year. I WILL be staying here next year so if anyone will need roommates I’m looking please email me because two of my male room mates are moving out due to the fact that they are graduating. FYI, I have a 3 bed 2 baths. Females are welcome. People last year were fighting over the last apartment and we were happy to be the one that got it. Great location, everyone who lives in the building are all student. I think this is the only rule here. We had some great parties this year and the management did not bother us much. For the most part it’s a quite building there are 4 apartments per floor and only 4 floors. The apartments are big we can easily fit 7 people. We have tons of closet space. The Roof was also something rare I don’t think any other building allows 24 hrs. access to the roof that has a huge jacuzzi. Close to campus, close to Westwood.
I have been living here for 3 years now (in a two bedroom and two bathroom apt) and don't want to leave! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is extremely safe, in regards to smoke alarms as well as building security. The rooftop terrace is lovely, with great views. The neighborhood is quiet and serene and I love being able to walk into Westwood village. It is really so easy to get anywhere in LA. The 405 is right here. I used to live in Beverly Hills and moving just 5 minutes away has saved me 20 mins in commuting. The building is always super clean and well maintained. It is worth the rent - hands down!
I read some other reviews here I just feel some things are over exaggerated or wounded if the person even lived in the building.
Don't believe all the negative reviews. From talking with the management and other people living and renting condos in this building, the bad reviews are mostly from people that didn't stay or were asked not to stay. They take the time to specifically not recommend the building. Like over 98% of the people we talked with who live and know the building since the condo conversion really like it. It's not for everyone because it's not a party building and the prices probably reflect the location, amenities, pool, laundry, on-site managers and all side by side parking. The problems have been overcome by a new management company. These days it seems it can be hard to find openings at different times of the year, so be patient.
I'm satisfied with it for the most part. It is a nice place, fairly spacious, two-bedroom apartment rent is based on the floor level. All utilities included except for gas and electric which comes out to about 20 dollars a month. Maintenance could be better, but my problems have all been fixed. It's in a good location, right next to UCLA.
The Apartment I stayed is clean, cozy and quiet. Spacious enough for myself and I really liked it coz it's not far from my school in fact a walking distance only. Though it has it's lapses still the place is affordable for students like me who is on a budget basis. In general, I have no regrets living in there.
I was impressed with the location first. I think it’s one of the best value for money available in Westwood. You can't beat 550 for a spot. Near Westwood Village and UCLA campus. Really speaking, the building is located in the heart of Westwood and holds it's own prestige. Great for UCLA students, professionals working in the vicinity. I do think that one of the building rules is that you must be a student to live here. During the night time you guys should check out the roof probably the reason why I probably signed up to begin with.
