Monthly Rent: $900 - $900
It was really nice living here! It's not really a party-tolerant apartment complex, which I understand because there are a lot of older and professional tenants living in the area, but I was alright with that.
Whenever there was a problem, the staff were pretty quick to fix it, and the landlady, Mimie, was always great to talk to.
This apartment might seem far from campus, because it's all the way at Strathmore and Veteran, but the Weyburn Express is about two blocks way and operates from something around 7:30a to 6:30p.
Oh, and it's not really that big of a deal but I liked how it had a door at Kelton AND a door at Veteran. Pretty convenient.
We've had a very positive experience living here and especially recommend it to anyone involved with UCLA, as it is very close to campus and convenient for students and staff. As a grad student, I was delighted by the quiet and cleanliness of the space, and my wife enjoyed living here as well. Mimie is the best building manager one could hope for. She is very kind and personable. She is responsive and addresses any outstanding issues promptly. Mimie truly made the experience a wonderful one, thanks to her professionalism and genuine friendliness.
I absolutely loved living in this apartment for 2 whole years! The landlord, Mimie, was an absolute sweetheart with everyone and she made my stay here be fantastic. Mimie was always available for anyone whenever we needed something or if something needed to be repaired. The rent is not too bad, we only paid $550 a month for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with a total of 4 girls. That was a steal for such a well taken care of apartment, and for being only a 5 minute walk to the bruin bus on Weyburn. I recommend this apartment to anyone, because you will have a great experience!
I like this place a lot. The place is quiet, nice and clean. 5mins walk to school shuttle. Studio is spacious with a small room attached (great for two people sharing) Great furnish; hardwood floor makes it easy to clean; big window that allows plenty of natural light in. And the manager Mimie has made my apt living a great experience. She's so sweet and helpful and she's there for you! She's the reason why I extended my contract for another year ( I just didn't want to move to another apartment).
I had a fantastic experience living in this building. The apartments were clean, all the appliances worked, and our apartment had beautiful hardwood floors and plenty of space. When I was apartment hunting, I saw several apartments for a similar price and this building was BY FAR the best option. It is also two blocks north of the graduate student housing bus stop which made commuting to campus very easy. The biggest asset to this building, though, was Mimie the land lord. She was so considerate, friendly, and helpful. I have never encountered a land lord who has been so genuinely concerned about making sure that tenants are taken care of. Overall, I would recommend that anyone rent here.
Great place to live, I love Mimi the land lord. One of the nicest and accommodating land lord out there. a This building are not all students so the noise is always low, and there's not much parties. Everyone is respectful of each other. I lived in a 1 bedroom and loft apartment. The only down side is the distance to school.
Great place to live. Not too far from UCLA. Covered parking included. I think this apartment offers the best space/sq feet per dollar in westwood. The building manager (tita Mimie) is the BEST. She's very caring and is prompt to resolve any issues that may arrise. Highly recommended!
Mimie is an awesome landlord. She's so helpful with anything and she's so easy to talk too. Any concerns you have with the apartment she will help you in no time, but you'll find that you won't have any concerns. The apartment complex is really clean and you'll have really nice and quiet neighbors. The apartment is so spacious, you have a huge living room, a one bedroom that's big enough for two and you'll still have your own personal space, and the floor is hardwood. The walk up Strathmore isn't bad and the shuttle is only a 5 to 7 minute walk. I stayed here for two years, this was my first apartment and I felt so lucky to come across it.
