Professor Chichester Is a wonderful and great professor, her readings r really fun, and she's willing to help students with drafts and how to improve essays. I'm selling her course reader of "A Family Affair " for $35 ( in the student store is like 45 with tax. ( used for English comp 2) is like new just has a few pencil marks but can be easily erased. If interested txt me at **********

Winter 2023 - Firstly I gotta say don't take her as a first option for any english class unless she's the only option available. She has this stupid policy regarding tardiness/absenses where your grade will be lowered a letter if your absense twice or are tardy. She wants everything printed and brought to class which is stupid since sometimes we needed to bring 30+ page articles just because she said so. She also is a total tyrant when it comes to participation because unless your telling your entire life story in every lecture you won't get the participation points which are a big source of the total points in class. My gripes with her were really on her reasoning for why we couldn't use technology and had to write everything down in a notebook which were "because paper is less harmful to the environment" which is dumb since she had us print hundreds of pages of articles from printers that cost alot of money and are plugged in 24/7 which seems more harmful to the environment than just using a damn tablet. One time she actually blew up on us because not enough people were sharing their life story's so she ended class 40 minutes early and gave everyone an absense which is a dick move. The only good thing I can really say is that she was decent grader and left semi helpful comments on essays but not all the time. She is easily the worst english teacher/professor I have ever taken from middle school up until freshmen year of colllege. She also goes on and one about how "off the grid" she is and its really annoying because it's like she's trying to flex that she shops at whole foods market and takes the bus.

Fall 2021 - The workload of this class was hell in the beginning but as you reach week 5 or 6, you will get comfortable with the pace of the class. Make sure you attend EVERY class and complete EVERY HOMEWORK on time. The class is a cakewalk unless you challenge the professor. You will genuinely feel yourself get better with your writing. The lessons are super useful. There are tons of group activities and he always appreciates new ideas and voices. Talk to him during office hours and discuss your narrative's progress. He is always friendly and gives the best advice. Pro tip: A+ is 99-100%, A is 90+% so don't stress if you mess up one or two homework.

I actually had Esha for Women Studies 10. She is an amazing professor! Not only is she adorable, but she is also extremely concerned, helpful, and sweet. She really gets into discussion during lecture, which makes the class a thousand times more interesting. She encourages everyone to participate, and even memorizes the names of those who do! She is very passionate about the subject matter, which personally, i found extremely interesting. There's a lot of readings, but most of them are pretty short and the ones that are long are fast reads because they're interesting, and, for the most part, pretty contemporary. She is the nicest lady ever; extremely approachable and very kind. I would definitely, 100% recommend this class to anyone, including guys. It's not difficult at all. The midterm is a breeze if you go over the study guide. It's very straightforward, simple, and short. They also grade fairly. The final is take home, and is pretty much formatted the same way as the midterm, just longer. I loved my TA, Jennifer Musto. So if you have the chance of having her, definitely take her! She's passionate, intelligent, and also really sweet. Although she posts the power points online, and even sends most of them straight to your email, I attended almost every lecture simply because I enjoyed Esha's stories and found the class interesting. The discussions can be hilarious, as are some of the stories Esha tells. She also shows great artwork and movie clips. Overall, great professor, great TAs, and great class! Definitely take it!
