Winter 2017 - Class is very doable as long as you skim over the material she went over in class in the textbook and participate in your discussion group. Doing SONA experiments for extra credit is basically necessary if you want to end with an A in this class, it adds 2% to your overall grade. I'm selling the think like a baby book **********

Fall 2025 - Ok I don't know why all the haters are coming in and. tanking her reviews, this was genuinely the easiest class to get an A or an A+ in.... THERE IS 4% extra credit?? Do not listen to the reviews that are negative. Reasons why this class is the best without all the fluff: 1. One midterm is dropped, and the first midterm is based off literally 5 lectures. If you go to town studying for that that's an easy A right there. I never spent more than 2-3 hours studying for either midterm, and I didn't read the textbook (she puts about 1-3 textbook Q on each test section). 2. Did I mention 4 % extra credit? Come on if you are getting lower than a B without the extra credit... what are you doing.. 3. She does NOT rush???? Who is lying about THAT. She only uses 1 hour of the time slot... she lets us go.. early? 4. She is the sweetest professor ever. She is so funny during lectures too. 5. Lecture not mandatory, recordings available. 6. The tests were so fair. Review your slides 3-4 times, and use the practice questions that we create as a class, and guess what you will get an A! You actually have to put in like 50% effort to get an A in this class, and ITS SUPER FUN AND INTERESTING .\ I will not tolerate this hate. I never leave reviews but for people to come say bad things is crazy and a reflection of their poor work ethic

Professor Fuligni is an excellent teacher. Although her lectures are very faced paced and you tend to leave with a hand cramp, you are guaranteed to stay awake. She shows concern and is willing to meet with you outside of class. I am already enrolled in her next class and suggest that UCLA look into giving her a full-time position.

Winter 2019 - This has been my favorite class so far at UCLA. Dr. Goff is an amazing professor and has amazing lectures and uses funny and engaging examples to help students understand. I wanted to go to a lecture every day and enjoyed all of the topics I learned in this class. The hardest part is the group project just because it's hard to have others' work count as your own. Would take this class again in a heartbeat. The only downside is the class is out of 150 points which means you need to do well on the tests but they aren't hard and you can drop one of the two midterms. There is also extra credit you can earn by participating in studies on campus. Go to her office hours the day before the exam because they are very helpful. 10/10 recommend to anyone debating this class.

Professor Johnson is one of the best Psychology professors! I really enjoyed the class (even though I may have fallen asleep several times, but I do this in EVERY class unfortunately...) if you are interested in developmental psychology, this is the best class to take as it gives you an introduction to it and is not overwhelming. It was a fairly easy class, just make sure you pay attention to lectures as most of the exam questions are from here. There are several odd-ball questions from the reading book, and honestly, I did not read but skimmed it and still managed to get an A-. This may be because he does drop your lowest score if I remember correctly, and there is a generous curve. My FAVORITE PART OF CLASS was when he showed us video clips of the experiments he was talking about. He also likes to show graphs. If you are a visual person, this class is great since he incorporates visuals. Great class! I would definitely recommend. He is also a very funny and SARCASTIC guy. His jokes are funny and he is even great if you have him for his honors discussion for this class. Unfortunately, I had to drop it, but my friend said he shared a lot about his personal life and it was just fun to listen to it and get to know the professor outside of lecture.
