Professor Lau is a FANTASTIC Lecturer and a great professor overall! Her lectures always went by quickly and her exams are more than fair! For her course (Psychology M107) you have one 5 page paper, one midterm, and one final. It is not difficult to do well if you do the work that she asks you to do, which is reasonable. Just go to lecture, take DETAILED notes, and know your notes in and out for both exams. Although she does assign reading, they were more supplementary in the sense that if you didn't understand something about a particular study in lecture, reading them will help. She is also always available during her office hours to answer questions. There is absolutely no reason that you cannot get an A in her class (she also applies a curve that works for you not against you).

Spring 2025 - Never take this class with Chung. The course material is taught purely through looking at studies, and this is not the way to teach an undergraduate class. It is rarely engaging, and her grading scheme is unforgiving. I had been looking forward to taking this class for the longest time, but it was a massive disappointment. I did well in the class, but it was generally not worth the time I spent teaching myself the material. Big, big disappointment.
