I have taken two classes with Professor Lunde, and he is a great professor. He loves his subject material, even if it is in a field that does not get much love or attention. His classes are very interesting, because he highly encourages participation. He is very generous with grades, and he gives you a very helpful handout for the midterm and final. He's really just an all-around great guy.

Yo honestly this class was pretty awesome. The entire course was outside in the sculpture gardens, where we would talk about the Scandinavian short stories we were assigned to read. This class has very little work, but requires you to attend class and participate (or at least sit next to and talk to the Prof Wen so he knows you). There is one group presentation on a short story (abt 10 minutes) and an 8 page final paper. Besides that you just have to read/skim a short story or two before every class. Professor Wen is incredibly accommodating so if you have any issues he will definitely find a way to help. Also, I'm a STEM major and managed to survive all the literature analysis so you'll be fine. 10/10 professor. 10/10 class
