Professor Aliki is by far the best math professor I have so far. (I have had 4.) She is highly effective at teaching us the material, and provides excellent notes online that are useful for review and study. The workload and exam difficulty is fair, though enough to really test our understanding. I think it's telling that at week 9, her class is still full. That is rare in prereqs. I could not recommend her more highly. As a sidenote, I think of myself as an average student (Bs and Cs) so my love for this professor is not motivated by my grades.

Aliki is the best professor I have had at UCLA, in all departments. She is very brilliant, super charming, engaging, and very encouraging. She told us that we won't need the book and she posted incredibly thorough and clearly written notes on her ccle website every week. Wayyyy better than the book. She assigned homework problems and posted thorough solutions afterwards so we can learn from our mistakes. she would post practice problems, practice midterms, practice finals, etc on her website with the solutions. her notes were by far the best notes i have taken for a math class. she really wanted us to learn the material well. she is young and very down to earth. I would love to take another class with her. her exams got harder with each midterm. however, she was super fair. i got an A- in the class. it is the grade i deserved. the final was hard but on my.ucla it said i got 86 or 87, either she graded leniently or she had a fair curve. she was super available with office hours and very very patient. Love her!! take her class! you will not regret it, you will regret it if you don't take her class!

MATH 33B

Professor Aliki is probably the best math professor I've ever had! She is fun, has a solid understanding of math, grades very fairly, and cares about her students. She uploads notes, practice problems, and homework solutions to CCLE every week, and has many office hours. I personally did not do well in her class, but I still strongly recommend her. Take Aliki's classes!
