So, I really enjoyed Dr. Ankowski's lectures. She's very clear and articulate and she kept the course interesting. She's a fan of the early mornings, which is not very convenient for most, but if you enjoy early classes, go for it. Personally, I commute a very long way and I wasn't able to make it to her morning lectures and had to listen to them via recordings, which honestly made it difficult to keep up sometimes. She uses no slides and she doesnt podcast. She writes on the chalkboard a lot, so if you're not in class, be prepared for a set back. The exam questions are SUPER tricky and there's not much time given to do them. I'v been getting As on exams for 5 years, with a couple of Bs here and there, and I got a 70% on the midterm for this class. So, you really need to have emotional stability when taking this course, because it is designed to make you critically think which is great, but it's also designed to emotionally wreck you, which is terrible. Also, KEEP YOUR LOAD LIGHT. I had to take several other heavy classes along with this which was a terrible idea and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. This is a very heavy class!!!!
