Best professor I have had at UCLA by far. I came into this class hearing horror stories about hard it was only to find that it was extremely manageable due to how helpful Surro is.
He provides practice questions / exam type questions for EVERY lecture and EVERY concept taught in this class and they are EXTREMELY similar to what is on the midterm and final. Anyone who did not get a good grade in this class with Surro as the professor has no one but themselves (barring personal life problems) to blame. If you do all of these problems there is simply no way you get anything below a B.
That being said, in order to get a good grade in this class you must lock in and put in the work to take advantage of all of the useful resources he gives you because it definitely is challenging at points.
That being said, amazing professor who genuinely cares about his students and how they perform in this class, evidenced by his surveys, resources, and overall aura. You will not get a better economics professor than him.
