This class was pretty easy!!! Enders is very chill, tall, tech-savvy, and thorough. I took AP Statistics in high school, and this class was basically a couple intro weeks worth of AP high school material stretched out over the quarter. We didn’t use calculators, and everything was based on bigger concepts and ideas. A lot of Enders’ class is online/digital, and there are a few moving parts to keep up with throughout the quarter but they’re simple. He makes everything available online/on CCLE. Would highly recommend this class with Enders!!!

I took AP Stats in high school, so this class was sort of a review of that for me (plus some additional hypothesis testing methods that I had not previously learned about). However, Enders was great at teaching the material!
Enders spends a lot of time going over why the material is important conceptually and how to interpret different values that you find (rather than just memorize them) and I really appreciated that. He has a bit of a different perspective on learning than other teachers you've had in the past-he cares way more about whether you understand how to interpret your answers than whether or not you can find them. His tests are catered exactly to this.
His exams are not insanely easy but he lets you have a crib/cheat sheet so if you just write down everything you need to know, you should be fine.
The only difficult thing about this class really is that there are always like 3 assignments due at once and it can be difficult to keep track of when a quiz vs an assignment vs a twitter post, etc. are due. I had to keep making lists of when different things were due because all of the dates were confusing me-but he did send a lot of reminder emails when due dates came up, which I really appreciated.
Overall, I feel like taking Psych 100A with Enders is worth it because I've heard worse about the other professors that teach this class. Enders is pretty great!

To be completely honest, I thought this class wasn't as easy as everyone said it would be. I studied a LOT for the midterm and only scored 81%. The final was ridiculously hard and I'm hoping I passed this class. Praying for some kind of curve so I don't get dropped from my Psychology major.

Craig is the man! He is the best professor I have ever had and probably ever will have. Such a nice guy and a great teacher. Don't take this class with anyone but him.

CRAIG IS A SWEETIE. He cares about his students and is not looking to trick you with tests or quizzes. His lectures are quite boring though and I oftentimes found myself dissociating because of his slow pacing. Though, I understand that his pacing is deliberate; he just wants to ensure everyone absorbs and understands the information before continuing. I ended with a 98% in the class and you can too! You got this!

Enders is seriously one of the best professors out there. He explains everything with perfect clarity, and genuinely wants everyone to learn and succeed in the class. The workload is pretty light and the exams are very fair. Highly recommend taking it with him!!

Quarter: Spring 2024
Grade: A

This class uses iClicker but is only graded on answering 50% of the questions (accuracy does not count); later in the quarter I stopped attending class and just did iClicker from my room when I had other work that needed to be done. I found this class very interesting and could see myself using the knowledge in the future even though I don't plan on going into research. There are pre-class quizzes and post-chapter quizzes, all of which you can keep redoing (it will randomize the questions from a large bank), until you get the grade that you want. I found that really smart and nice because indirectly I was studying by retaking them until I got a 100, and ended up really knowing the content because of how many times I would take those quizzes. It is a really nice way to encourage learning and know that your grade is not dependent on your accuracy but your willingness to learn. Using the software to analyze data was pretty fun, and overall I highly recommend this class with Enders! He made it very easy and enjoyable.

Quarter: Spring 2017

This is a fairly easy class as long as you do your assignments and quizzes on time.
He gives out a lot of easy points with quizzes for each topic, which you can submit as many times until you get 100%. Assignments with SPSS are also relatively easy as long as you know how to navigate the software. There is a whole lab dedicated to that. There was also twitter questions at the beginning of the quarter, but I think that kind of stopped when there were a lot of technical problems, but those are also some points you can get easily (but use the hashtag he gives and answer before that week's lecture to actually receive the points because he's not very lenient on those)
You have to attend his lectures because he does polleverywhere points, as he is kind enough to not make his students buy actual clickers. He also doesn't require a textbook and everything you need to know are basically on his slides.
However, his lectures can be quite boring. They're long and he tends to go really into details on things that I felt like could be condensed. But that may be because I have taken AP stats before and some of the material was review for me.
His exams are multiple choice and relatively easy. They don't have any calculations and most of the questions are just simple concept/interpreting data questions. He allows you to bring in a "crib sheet," basically an 8.5x11 piece of paper with anything you want written on it. You can basically study just by making the crib sheet and you'll be fine.
Overall recommend him as a teacher as he makes sure you know the material without all the unnecessary memorizing.

Professor Enders is a very fair, funny, and engaging teacher. Sometimes, I almost felt as if the class was too easy but I'm not complaining. I've heard from other students that Psych 100A can be extremely hard, but I definitely did not think so with Enders. He even allows any A- to be brought to an A. My first midterm was lower than I expected though because I was putting in 0 effort. However, I studied more for the final and got a 100% and an A in the class. Seriously love this guy, definitely would try and take this class with him. He is funny and doesn't try to make the material unnecessarily complicated.
