Quarter: Fall 2021
Grade: B

Honestly its a great course. I just wish I put in more effort because I definitely would've gotten a better grade. Professor Enders is the first and probably only professor who allows multiple submission of midterm & exam. He is an awesome professor. However, I found the workload a little heavy.

Quarter: Spring 2020
Grade: A+

Professor Enders is one of the few professors who cares about his students. I took this class this quarter online due to COVID, but despite of that Enders was adaptable. He also made his exams take home and collaboration allowed before the actual exam. We would then simply have to put our answers into CCLE come exam time.

The material is pretty simple, pretty much a review of AP Stats if you took that. His online quizzes are not that hard but you can take them as many times as you want until you get an A. He often repeats himself very often which can be boring, but it really does make the material stick. All in all, Professor Enders is a great professor who is really able to break concepts down and simplify statistics. Chances are if you're taking this class you need this class for your major, so there's no way out of it, but trust me you'll be fine.

Quarter: Spring 2020
Grade: A+

Great professor! Took it spring 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and in spite of the circumstances Professor Enders adjusted the class very well. The stats topics were presented very clearly in a pseudo-inverted classroom style with quizzes, data analysis assignments, and exams. Craig made online lecture very enjoyable to attend with his humor and clarity. I would definitely recommend to any psych department majors!

Craig was such a great professor and funny as well. Content was very easy to grasp and understand. If you took AP Stats in high school, this class will be mostly review for you. I took this during the COVID-19 pandemic, but Craig was so understanding and cared so much for his students.

Quarter: Spring 2020
Grade: A+

BY FAR, MY MOST FAVORITE CLASS EVER! Professor Enders was so accommodating to his students' needs, especially during this hard quarter. He actually makes statistics more fun to learn, which if you had statistics before, you will realize is hard. The grade distribution is: Class Prep Quizzes (25%), Content Quizzes (10%) , Lab Assignments (25%), and Midterm and Final (combined 40%). I had so much fun taking this class! At first, I was scared for lab, because I'm not really good at coding, but Enders taught us how to use jamovi and I actually started looking forward to doing lab assignments every week. He was so nice to give us multiple chances to do the class prep and content quizzes, so we could get the highest score possible. Overall, if you have the opportunity to take Psych 100A with Enders, I would say go for it! You won't regret it!

Quarter: Spring 2020
Grade: A+

If you're taking 100A, you have to take it with Craig. He was an absolute legend in being accommodating with the new online structure. His slides were clear, and he was really good at explaining things in simple ways. His class was a flipped format style, where we had some videos/reading to do and a pre-lecture quiz to complete based on that content, and then after the lecture discussing that material, we had a week to complete each post-lecture quiz (the post-lecture quizzes allowed you to immediately see your score and retake as many times as you want, pre-class you could retake as many times as you want but you don't see your score until after it's due). There were 5 assignments that had us analyze real-world data and answer mostly multiple-choice questions about the data. The midterm and final exam were basically like the assignments where there was data we analyzed, and also just some questions about general concepts, some very similar to the quiz questions. They were take-home, where we could work on them for a few weeks before the exam time (though they only took me around 30 min to complete), and then would have to submit our answers during the time allotted. Also if you end up taking this class online, ask to see his dogs.

Quarter: Spring 2020
Grade: A+

Professor Enders makes this class a breeze. All lectures were available online. Class follows a "backwards classroom" format where class prep quizzes are taken before lecture - these carry a bulk of the grade. The rest of the class is collaborative, including exams, where Enders encourages students to work together to get the same answers. Concepts are not too difficult and Prof supplies plenty of practice and information.

Quarter: Winter 2016
Grade: A

Grading Distribution:
Exams - 50%
Assignments - 20%
Quizzes - 15%
In-Class Participation - 15%
Final Grade = (0.50 × Average Exam %) + (0.20 × Average Assignment %) + (0.15 × Average Quiz %) + (0.15 × Participation %)

Professor Enders:
This was Enders's first quarter at UCLA coming from ASU. I thought that his CCLE slides were very clean and detailed. You can basically just study the slides and go to lecture doing something else, paying attention only when you have to participate. He can get a bit rambly and his voice is a bit monotone. But he can be funny at times. I would say that he grades more than fair.

TAs:
I never really talked to any of the TAs, but I emailed Erin Arruda a lot. She responded very quickly and was always very helpful with my concerns, whether it be an assignment wasn't accessible on CCLE or my midterm grade was botched.

Midterm Grade: 30/33
The midterm was really easy. Like ridiculously easy. It consisted of only multiple choice questions, and you were allowed to use a cheat sheet, or "crib sheet," as Enders calls it. Just write down all the important things from his slides and you should get an A.

Assignments Grade: 46/56
The assignments are just quizzes using a free statistics program we downloaded for the class called JASP. He goes over how to use them in class and it's pretty simple to maneuver. You just download data sets to the program and manipulate them and interpret the results. I fucked up on the last couple assignments, but it shouldn't affect your grade too much if you do well on everything else. You can submit assignments on CCLE multiple times, but the latest submission is the one that is graded. The assignments include multiple choice questions and some short answer questions sometimes. You're given about a week to complete them.

Quizzes Grade: 140/140
After each topic there is a CCLE quiz on it. It consists of 10 multiple choice questions, and you can take it multiple times. Your highest score counts for the quiz. Each time you take it, CCLE takes different questions from a pool. These are pretty simple. He gives you about a week to complete them. If it takes you more than one try, just keep taking the quiz.

In-Class Participation - 100%
Enders uses this thing called "Poll Everywhere." You have to pay a small fee to use it for the quarter, but in class he brings up these polls that are either multiple choice or short answer and the results are updated on the screen in real time. You don't need to submit the right answer to get credit, but you can't submit gibberish answers either. I feel like participation was the only reason most people went to class, because I sat in the back and most people were doing things other than paying attention when I saw the sea of laptop screens in front of me.

Final Exam Grade: unknown, probably an A
The final was exactly the same format as the midterm, all multiple choice with a crib sheet. It was also noncumulative. Very easy.

Overall Grade: A
I think this class was incredibly easy. I've never taken statistics before, but Enders's slides were actually very informative and well-written. Sure, you didn't really need to pay attention in class to do well, but it was mostly his slides that helped me understand the concepts of psychological statistics. I would highly recommend taking Enders for 100A. You would need to try really hard to get lower than an A.

Quarter: Spring 2020
Grade: A

The class itself was pretty easy. It was all online, everything was recorded, and attendance was optional (even to labs). There were a lot of additional youtube resources provided (like crash course statistics). I basically didn't attend any lectures and only watched the crash course youtube videos and the Jamovi youtube videos and still got an A, and I had never taken a stats class before, even in highschool.

One caveat is the professor. Prof. Enders is super unhelpful. He is a "this is the way it is" kind of guy and during such a volatile quarter, he was really unsympathetic. I had a bit of trouble with my final and he was snarky and rude in response. After 14 emails back and forth, we worked it out and I ended up doing really well on the final (and in the class), but if you're looking for a professor who will be understanding if anything goes wrong, this isn't that guy. CAE students beware.
