I cannot say enough good things about Professor Avila. He is smart, engaging, and keeps every lecture extremely entertaining. I could go on and on about how great he is. I would absolutely take another class with him. I went to lecture, didn't really do any of the reading except to collect evidence for the final paper, and went to section and engaged. Overall, if you put in a moderate amount of energy, you'll get an A. But the course topic is so interesting that you'll have no problem wanting to learn more in the class. 100% would recommend this class, and would 100% recommend this professor!
