I took LS4 with Laski, sorry there was no LS4 option when choosing the course option. He stutters sooo much. His slides are very helpful that you don't REALLY need to take too many notes, but you have to go to class or watch his podcasts in order to really understand what they are about. His clicker questions help the learning process. However his tests are SO frustrating. You could do all of the homework problems and understand everything he had covered in lecture and still get the average on a test, because he puts an extremely difficult problem on each midterm that no one has ever seen anything similar to and then makes that problem worth at least 16 points out of 100 point test. There are usually 6 questions per midterm, with anywhere from 2 to 4 multiple parts per question, and 2 hours to complete the test. Also for the 200 point final, which is cumulative over all three midterms and the last two weeks worth of class material, in addition to the 6 questions (each with ind. parts) he added 2 more questions with multiple parts and 10 short answer questions (which took at least 5 minutes if you wanted to guarantee you had the correct answer), in only 3 hours. It was physically impossible to finish the test well and in time.
