She is a new professor, so her lecture format isn't really what I was used to (she does a lot of exercises/discussion-type problems in lecture). Her homework problem sets are extremely long and difficult, and oftentimes she would have to make multiple announcements to clarify/correct things on the PSETs. Her exams are also very long and thus difficult (midterm, cumulative final, one-paper cheat sheet allowed), but isn't too bad. She has a kind exam/HW re-do policy to help you make up some lost points. Her final project was very open ended (lacked some clear instruction) so it was both good and bad in some ways. She's really kind and approachable in office hours. I would recommend pairing your study with textbook reading as her lectures are not always the best in covering all the material clearly.

Good:
* Cares about her students.
* Willing to hear about their concerns.
* Funny and easy to talk to and reach out when you have questions.
* Would take a future course with her.
* Applied final project. Good for resumes and interviews.

Bad:
* Very difficult content because it is applied fluid mechanics.
* Lectures would be better if posted online and done with an iPad. Her ability to communicate material could be better but that will come with time because she is a new professor.
* Many issues with posted homework.
