I took Food Studies 133W with Dr. Renton. The class itself was really interesting and gives you a new perspective on food and its history. Dr. Renton was extremely kind and always held extra office hours where she was available to help you with your papers. Getting an A is very doable as long as you keep up with the weekly assignments and get feedback on your papers. Highly recommend if you need to fulfill your Writing II requirement and still want to take an interesting class!

I took two classes with Professor Renton. Both classes were a great experience. Workload is perfect. A lot of the readings were a part of our class discussions which I found very helpful. She always made herself available to help out with anything and always invited you to do so. I will miss classes like these once my time undergrad is over.
