Guerberoff's lectures are 50 minutes of examples upon examples. The only issue is that his examples are 10 times easier than the questions on his exams. His handwriting is a little messy sometimes/illegible and he has an accent but if you attend class and try to pay attention you should not have a problem at least learning the material. I would definitely look into office hours with your TA. I ended up with an A- in the class and I had an amazing TA (sudesh). The curve is generous because the questions are really complex (compared to homework questions).

- Obviously a very smart math scholar - Mumbles in class and runs through his prepared material very quickly to make sure he "covers" everything, rather than teaching/articulating the concepts to the students - Midterms and the final exam are exponentially different/more difficult than the homework and examples he shows us in class I basically had to rely on my TA, math lab, and reading the book to teach myself because he is not capable of communicating or explaining the material clearly in lecture. Horrible decision to take his class. If I could go back, I'd choose anyone but him. DO NOT TAKE if you want to pass Math 3B.

Dope ass professor. He really knows his shit. He might make you feel a little dumb by the tone he answers questions in sometimes, but overall a really knowledgeable and cool cat. He keeps to himself in lecture, he won't speak before the scheduled time unless spoken to though. Don't be afraid to talk to this quiet genius! If you want to challenge yourself and REALLY learn the material, take Guerberoff's class.
