I took Philosophy 7 during a summer session. Of course everyone whined and complained the whole time because they studied so hard and were still failing. I sure did get one hell of a logic bootcamp that's for sure. And the whiners decided philosophy wasn't their cup of tea and instead majored in economics or sociology.

After reading the other reviews about mr. Thau here before taking him I said to myself: "He can't be that bad." well, I was wrong. Tahing this guy was the worst mistake I could have ever made. He is so horrible; the antithesis of what philosophy is. Take heed to this warning!!! Stay away from this guy!!!

I think that he is a funny guy and if you try hard that you won't do bad in his class. He just makes sure that you are listening and he even urgers you to ask questions and see him in his office hours. He is a little adament about things, and if he says write out the things in the midterm, copy the entire midterm. If you do what he asks then your fine.
