Winter 2025 - TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN! I love Dr. Rob! He's one of my favorite professors at UCLA! He really takes the time to get to know everyone's name and ask them about how their day is going, along with remembering facts about them (ex. their hometown). He helped me prepare for interviews for my internships and clubs, and made me more confident in my public speaking abilities. He heavily cares about creative expression, so for his TED talk assignments, we are free to choose ANY topic of our choice (and I mean *any*). He is also a lenient grader because he understands that not everyone is confident in their public speaking abilities, but he genuinely cares a lot about his students and wants them to succeed. I promise you that you will not regret taking ANY class with Dr. Rob. I loved his Comm 1 class so much that I plan to take the other courses he will teach in the future for fun!

Winter 2023 - Dr. Carpenter was definitely the best professor that I have had in my time at UCLA. His lectures uplift students and empower your vision/voice. It was nice too to hear both sides of arguments that he gave during debate classes. He never made anyone feel bad. This not only was an easy class, but one that I looked forward to everyday. ROB IS THE GOAT
